How to open a port on google compute engine

+1 vote
I'm facing some problem while accessing a port through IP address, but it's working through 'localhost' when I use the machine or any other external client machine.

I'm not able to access the 8888 port.

Help needed.

You need to change the local TCP server settings files from 'localhost' to '0.0.0.0'

You can check it in the firewall rule list.

This might work.

This article says I need to create a firewall rule to open a particular port on Google cloud. Can I edit or change an existing rule to open a port?
