Connecting GSM Module to Raspberry Pi 2

0 votes
How can I connect GSM module pgsm-1 to my Raspberry Pi 2 that is running Windows 10 IoT Core on it? From what I could gather, I think I'm supposed to connect it to my device via its RXD and TXD pins, which are now labeled as reserved by Microsoft. So then, how could I be able to do it?

Hey, just use any 'supported' USB-to-Serial adapter for connecting the GSM module to your Pi. Although the supported hardware list by Microsoft is a really messed up one, I've been using one with a "Silabs CP2102" chip. But, it still needs re-plugging from time to time as it tends to freeze when my device runs Win IoT Core on it.
