Ensuring a project aligns with business goals can be challenging, especially with shifting priorities. How do you keep the project focused on delivering value to the organization?

There has to be constant communication and adjustment so as to ensure the alignment of the project to business goals, especially where shifting priorities occur. 

• During my last project, I frequently met with key stakeholders to determine if what was going on still supported the project to achieve its goals aligned with the business objectives. 
• Adjustments in the priority caused me to re-assess the project plan to emphasize the value-delivering aspects.
• I kept the team apprised and also motivated by simply communicating why things were done and how this contributed to the achievement of the organizational goals, so we were all focused on providing value in delivering results despite the change.
