How to customize colors in columns in a bar chart?

There are two ways:

Go to format tab -> Conditional Formatting.

Right click on the field and click on Conditional formatting and choose the option for formatting

You can either apply background/ font color scales or data bars. A dialog box will open to fill color scale and conditions or rules to provide color formatting.
