I recently read an answer on Quora that mentioned of "Bug Bounty hunting". This stole my attention and as such i am thinking of making cyber security as my career choice. 

Can somebody tell me what certifications will I need for this and what career paths are available in cyber security? Thanks.

Yeah I agree with you Manasi, for doing ethical hacking and getting a job in cyber security all you need is good knowledge of any scripting language and networking. You can learn rest from internet and do dummy hecks by yourself.

As you have already gathered information about cybersecurity so you need a Government supported cybersecurity course in which you can study about all the modules basic to advanced and also job placement assistance. there are lots of institutes providing the same but as a former student, I would recommend you cyber security masters program which is very beneficial career.
