I'm going to start my career in the IT field, i would like to know languages and technologies that i need to master to have an easy going career life. Thank you ..

Hey Sameer, its good idea to start learning languages and have some knowledge about technologies well in advance. Here's a list of languages that will be expected of you:

  • sql
  • java
  • javaScript
  • c#
  • c++
  • Python
  • php

Okay so when you are talking about career, it doesn't matter where you start from.

The very first thing is you should stick to one path i.e development or research or admin or analyst etc

You can start off with C and then Java.

C will give you a good grip on data structure and algorithm

Java will be like you would get to explore the benefits of Object Oriented Programming.

I think you should learn Machine learning in and out. I honestly feel AI and machine learning will soon replace the humans. So lets be smarter than the technology by learning and creating them than by getting replaced by them.

It depends on the Technology you are working on. If you are working on Web applications then PHP, Java, Javascript are important. For Big Data, Spark, Java, Python is important. For AI, machine learning, Python is important.

But in general scenario, I suggest you learn: C, C++, Python, Java, Javascript.
