Shiny app - tabs refresh content

Question

Shiny refresh or execute the r script each time a tab is clicked, increasing time to load and number of executions, Is there a way to decrease the number of executions on the shiny app for each tab?

It's very important to not add too much time to load the page by adding only the processing statements inside server functions, rest all the loading statements and calculation that do not change throughout the app can be added outside server function.
