Running a cron job at fixed intervals of time

Question

I want to execute a cron job after every 15 minutes. I'm using OSX. The problem is it should run at 0th minute but it isn't.

This is what I'm doing:

*/30 * * * *

Just use this instead:

0,30 * * * * yourCommand
