AWS If EBS is Using RDS database can it be dropped

Question

I don't want to do that We can’t add new database to EBS. Hence I don’t want to delete a DB and create a new one.

When it comes to considering IAM roles, Security groups, VPC subnets, opening ports, passing env variables, load balancing, I don't want to go through trouble of deleting integrated db and then doing surgery to integrate new one to EBS.

EBS will run your software. It is optional whether to run RDS or not. RDS is a different thing. You can drop RDS databases that are inside a RDS instance.
