How to add image in story?

Hi,

you can add an image in the story not directly but in terms of dashboards or sheets.

Through the dashboard,

Add an image object and edit the object. Then drag the image dashboard in the story.

Through sheet,

Use shapes marks and then create a field with 1 as its value. Now drop the field in shapes shelf. Add an image to be used in tableau repository and select the image. Now edit the size and shape of the image and add the sheet in the story.

I did try to add image object and edit the object, but what am i editing here? tried dragging the image dashboard in the story but hasn't worked?.. any info on how to insert an image in the story line in tableau will be great!!

Hi,@There,

You will need to add it to the dashboard level and then apply it to the Story point.  At the moment, stories really just add a layout for the worksheet and dashboards in a linear presentation;  any customization to the look and feel will need to be done directly to the worksheet and dashboard instead.
