Amazon VPC allows users to use the different AWS resources within a virtual network. In this network the users can customize their virtual networking environment as they want,e.g. selecting own IP address range, creating multiple subnets, and configuring route tables and network gateways for the subnets. The different AWS services that can be used with Amazon VPC are as follows:

  • Amazon EC2
  • Auto Scaling
  • Amazon WorkSpaces
  • Amazon Elastic Cache
  • Amazon EMR
  • Amazon Redshift
  • AWS Data Pipeline
  • Elastic Load Balancing
  • Amazon Route 53
  • Elastic Beanstalk
  • Amazon OpsWorks
  • Amazon RDS

What has auto scaling to do with vpc?
Hello @Shashank, Within a VPC, you can launch AWS resources such as an Auto Scaling group. An Auto Scaling group in a VPC works essentially the same way as it does on Amazon EC2 and supports the same set of features. This is how auto-scaling groups also come under the component of VPC.
