Hey @Thomas, here are a few tips that'll lead you to a successful career:

  • Be willing to work hard
  • Set goals, as goals lead the path you take
  • Be open to change
  • Get a mentor
  • Follow your intuitions
  • Surround yourself with successful people which will be the major source of motivation
  • Set a routine
  • Evaluate yourself in terms of progress
  • Always keep improving

and as Rob Siltanen said

Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

hey,

Choosing your career after graduating is very important because you need to continue with that particular field or zone of  work. There are some ways listed below you can think in which way you can move your career.

  • Start working on those things which your are good in or you can develop your skills into it.
  • Anything it can be whether it is technical or other than that because at last you will be earning .
  • Every field will push you to do lots of hard work so make your mind that in which domain you have that ability to build you.
  • Get extra knowledge from some website about the future on the domain you want to go for.
  • Once you get it ,start doing small assignments on it every single day so that you come to know how can you develop it more.
  • Most importantly do not go with what other say because at the end of the day you have to carry on with your job and make sure you do not regret.

  • Be greedy to learn multiple tools and technologies.
  • Be energetic in any work you do.
  • Try to help others as well as learn from others.
  • Take part in company meetup or exhibitions, expo.
  • Choose the right tool or domain you want to work.
  • Switch to different tools once you have mastered a tool/technology than stuck to one tool in the same domain or a different domain.
