These are the educational requirements needed to become a Java developer:

  • An Undergrad degree in the field of computer science
  • masters degree in related field. 
  • Certification is recommended.
  • Internship to get some experience

Hey @Nikita,

A bachelor's degree is enough to get an entry level job. Make sure you master these topics though:

  • Data Structures
  • Advanced Java Programming
  • Distributed Java Applications
  • Web Applications
Getting a diploma or a certified course would be an added advantage.
