Can we Access AWS SNS service without having access to Secret key and access key

Question

I aim at sending SMS with SNS from EC2 containers in AWS. Can this be done without using Secret Key and Access Key.

Can we add any permission in IAM?

Yes what you ask for is possible. You can assign a role to a running EC2 instance given that you have required permission like sending a message through SNS

The client running need not provide any explicit AWS credentials either.
