Can I customize the text generated by Smart Narrative in Power BI?
I'm using Smart Narratives to automatically describe insights in my Power BI dashboard. However, I’d like to tailor the generated narrative to better align with my business terminology. Is it possible to manually edit or format the text created by Smart Narratives, and what kind of customizations are supported?

Smart Narratives gives you the opportunity to generate customizable texts that can be aligned to your preferred terminology and business communication style in Power BI.

Inserting a Smart Narrative visual makes its outcome as editable as a text box. Editing done here permits any part of the automated narrative to be:

Manually altered.

• Modified with one's phrases, sentences, or clarifications.

Appended by inserting dynamic values (measures or fields) by clicking the "+" value button and selecting from the data model.

Apply basic text formatting such as bold, italics, bullet points, and font sizing to improve readability.

You do not have complete control over the algorithms processing auto-generated insights. It suggests key metrics by underlying visuals.

You can place dynamic values into a narrative. Still, that narrative will not create its own more complex conditional logic or context-specific sentences unless you manually add such constructs into it.
