Docker for windows error Database lost on docker restart

Question

Every time I restart my docker all the database is lost. I'm trying to run docker-compose up on my containers but I cant find any containers.

If you are using docker-compose down/up, keep in mind that this is not a "restart" because:

• Docker compose up creates new containers and
• Docker compose down removes them
