Where are Hadoop s task log files stored

I am learning hadoop and I found somewhere that for each job, the Hadoop framework generates task log files. Can someone please tell me that where are Hadoop's task log files stored?

You can easily find these log files in Job Statistics. These logs are created by the jobtracker. The jobtracker runtime statistics from jobs to these files. Those statistics include task attempts, time spent shuffling, input splits given to task attempts, start times of tasks attempts and other information.
