Unable to start YARN daemons Error Could not find or load main class org apache hadoop yarn server resourcemanager ResourceManager

Error: Could not find or load main class org.apache.hadoop.yarn.server.resourcemanager.ResourceManager

Installation process was smooth until I started YARM daemons. I see the above error while running the command. Can anyone help me on this please?

Hey, @Akshitha,

Did you use start-all.sh command to start all your commands?

Try to stop them first with stop-dfs.sh and stop-yarn.sh

This seems like a path issue. you can add the following to your .bashrc file.

export HADOOP_CLASSPATH=$(cygpath -pw $(hadoop classpath)):$HADOOP_CLASSPATH
