Task s Exception s were not observed

Question

I have made a Power BI Dashboard, When I tried to update the data sources in the Power BI File to be linked to my computer and not his, the following error came up on Power BI:

"A Task's exception(s) were not observed either by Waiting on the Task or accessing its Exception property. As a result, the unobserved exception was rethrown by the finalizer thread."

Anyone know why this would happen, and what's the best way to update the dashboard?

I suggest you go the the "Files" - "Options and settings" - "Data source settings" and clear permission under the "Data sources in the current file" after you make a backup of this file, then enter your credential in the power query editor.
