Where does Hive store files in HDFS

Hi Guys,

I have configured Hadoop and hive in the local system. I want to see where does hive store its file in HDFS. How can I do that?

Hi@akhtar,

It depends on what you set in the hive-site.xml file. In this file, you can find one property named as hive.metastore.warehouse.dir. There you need to tell where you want to store your hive files. You can also see from the HDFS WebUI portal.
