Can anyone advice on how we use load balancers to route the traffic in two different regions. To my understanding, it is a regional service and I believe we can use it across Availability Zones but not across regions.

Across 2 different Regions, load balancing configuration is possible with the combination of both ELB & R53. But not possible with ELB alone.
