Which project management software gives users the most control over a project s details

I use Microsoft Project because it gives me a lot of control over the intricate details of my projects.

However, is there software that would give me even *more* control over a project’s details than Microsoft Project?

I use SharePoint to store PM files, projects, word, excel, access, PowerPoint, Visio.
