Any suggestions to switch streams in Project Management

Hi All,

What approach do you think would work best in switching streams as a Project Manager? If one were to go by job descriptions alone, all of them require continued experience in the same field which might be a difficult thing for someone who wishes to switch streams.
As an example, I am currently a Project Manager in the IT domain. I would like to try my hands at an AI firm or a marketing firm but in both instances, I would need "relevant experience".

Project Management itself is an art of executing projects to realize vision, objectives, and operating within several constraints of the organisation along with all stakeholders collaboratively. As long as you do proper due diligence and work along with SMEs, your current experience will be utilized to pursue your ambitions. No one is borne with readymade experience. 

As long as you are a constant learner and have a passion for utilizing your experience to pursue a new sector, you can always be successful. But please learn to walk before you run, that is the only thing you need to adopt with rigor and commitment.

 I believe successful project managers are always creative and can adapt to any sector, of course working with real domain experts. Believe in your capabilities and think about what is right for you.
