DMS failing to connect to Source endpoint

0 votes

I was doing a demo for edureka "Migration on premise to AWS" course where DB migration needs to be done using DMS. I have Mysql Db in an EC2 instance which is able to connect remotely.

I have created a DMS source endpoint which is connecting to EC2 Mysql DB but failing with error: "Cannot connect to ODBC driver".

EC2 instance is AWS AMI linux instance.

Hi@Gaurav,

You may get this error if your security group is not allowing the inbound rule to your instance. You need to add one rule in your instance that allows port 3306.
