Hi Guys,

I have one dataset for Machine Learning and I tried to assign each column in a variable, but I got this bellow error.

y = dataset['Marks']
KeyError Traceback (most recent call last)
~\anaconda3\lib\site-packages\pandas\core\indexes\base.py in get_loc(self, key, method, tolerance)

-> 2646                 return self._engine.get_loc(key)

pandas\_libs\hashtable_class_helper.pxi in pandas._libs.hashtable.PyObjectHashTable.get_item()
KeyError: 'Marks'
During handling of the above exception, another exception occurred:

Why I am getting this error?

Thank You

Hi@akhtar,

This error may occur if your python path is not defined in .bashrc file. Also check your dataset, if any mistype is there.

export PYTHONPATH={$ SET PYTHON_HOME DIR}

Hope this will help.

Thank You
