if I remove one container will my volume also get deleted

So basically I have two containers both attached to the same volume. I was just wondering if I remove one container will my volume also get deleted?

I do not want the volume to be affected.

If the volume is being referenced to some other container, it will not be removed. You can remove the container and the check for volume status

docker volume ls

It should still be the same.
