How to use the hclust function? I get te below error if I use hclust function.

Error in if (is.na(n) || n > 65536L) stop("size cannot be NA nor exceed 65536") : 
  missing value where TRUE/FALSE needed

hclust performs hierarchical cluster analysis on a set of dissimilarities and methods for analyzing it.

hclust(d, method = "complete", members = NULL)

Example: hc <- hclust(dist(USArrests), "ave")
plot(hc)
