Emails nor being sent through the port 25 of an EC2 instance- aws

0 votes
I am trying to send emails through the port 25 on my EC2 instances but the problem is I keep getting the timeout error. If I am not wrong I guess there is something that is blocking that portal. How do I get this to work?

Thanks!

Hi @Hannah, so if you are using Route 53 as our DNS create a new resource record and include A record. ONce you've created the record go-ahead and request amazon to remove the blockage on the port 25.

If I am not wrong this is the only workaround for this problem. If anybody has a better solution, please do let me know!
