formatting r output

I want to display the data frame fields(currency_in_dollars,currency_in_rupees) with starting with $ and rupee symbol. How to format the output?

Use print and paste command to format your output.

For example

> l = list(1,2,3,4,5)
> print(paste("$",l,sep = ""))
[1] "$1" "$2" "$3" "$4" "$5"
