Setting up CICD on a local server

Question

I'm running two local servers that are connected in my office network, integrated in VM cSphere. I'd like to implement CICID in my office. The wor servers are that of git and jenkins. I want to integrate git server repo with the jenkins server. We're using PHP apps in our office.

So I want to know how to integrate git server's repo in jenkins server and in git client(ubuntu+windows)??

Both are installed on ubuntu 12.04 server.

As to how to integrate git repo with jenkins server use the JENKINS/Git+Plugin. this will allow any job to refer the git repo url.

And now about integrating git with git client. the git clients use git remote repo url to lone push pull the code. Depending upon the nature of the server you may need to authenticate/authorize
