Can subscribers selectively receive only a subset of messages published to a topic - AWS SNS

Can subscribers selectively receive only a subset of messages published to a topic? I have a message that I'd like to divide and send. Suppose, I have message "abcde" and I want the first 10 subscribers to only get the message "abc". Is this possible?

Yes, of course, you can. You can use message filtering on SNS to build a simpler sub-architecture. Message filtering lets you enable SNS message subscribers to selectively receive only a subset of the messages. To monitor the usage of SNS subscription filter policies, use Amazon CloudWatch metrics.
