Locating Scala installation for Spark

0 votes

I'm using EMR and can launch spark-shell, but I want to run Scala REPL. Whenever I try to type scala command on shell it gives a bash error:

-bash: scala: command not found

How do I locate and run Scala REPL provided that Spark is already installed and configured?

First of all, spark doesn't come with the all the installation of Scala - Install it all by yourself or use spark-shell

NOTE: Spark Doesn't use scala 2.12, always use 2.11
