Python 3.7.3 is the latest release of Python 3 and is in present use. Python 2 is not forwards compatible with Python 3 and hence its end of support has been officially stated in 2020. For more information look at the PEP 398 - https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0398/#id7
