Query regarding sqoop job

Hi,

I started a sqoop job for loading data from rdbms to hdfs with oozie scheduler. What if any error gets generated, what type of precautions to be taken in order to overcome error fixing?

There no way to take any precautions for any oozie job scheduling. It could be hive metastore connection fail or mysql services stopped or any hadoop daemons not working and so on. There can't be any precautions taken for it.

One thing that can be done is we can run the sqoop job first using the command then scheduling a oozie script to ensure about the command itself.
