How do you add a new filter pane in old Power BI reports

Hi,

I have few reports which were created previously and now I want to add a net filter pane to each of them.

How do you turn on new filter pane in an older version of Power BI Desktop?

If I do not update my Desktop version do I have to copy each and every report into the new one in order to add a filter pane??

Hi,

You can perform the following steps:

1. Open your old report in the updated version of Power BI Desktop

2. Goto File>Options and Settings>Options

3. Enable filtering experience feature

Current file> Report Settings
