How do you schedule Data Refresh in Power BI

Hi,

I have a series of reports & datasets in my  Workspaces tab with daily Scheduled Refreshes running. They were active for 6 months without issues. However, for the last 48 hours, they are not working.

This is the error encountered every time: 

"There was an error when processing the data in the dataset."
Individual errors from these datasets include: "Value was not specified. Table: xxxx1."
"Invalid placeholder in the format string. Table: xxxx2"

I have to refresh it manually every time. How do I make this happen?

Hi,

Following could be the reasons why this error is occurring:

1. The connection is not using a data gateway as the entire data is cloud-based in Azure environment.

2. A current version of data gateway is not installed as there might be a compatibility issue with the older version

Try installing the gateways again in personal mode and then schedule a data refresh.
