Hive Change data format for DDL output

Hi. How can I change the data format for DDL output to json format. For example, when I use the DESCRIBE command to get the table information, the output is in plain text, I want this output to be in json. How can I do this?

By default, the DDL output is set to text. To get the data in json format, you'll have to mention it while using the hive command. Refer to the syntax below:

$ hive --hiveconf hive.ddl.output.format="json"
