How to override Mapred home directory using sqoop

I am running sqoop import command and the default Mapred home directory that is being used is the one set to $HADOOP_MAPRED_HOME. Now I want to use another directory for Mapreduce home. How can I override the definition defined in the configuration?

Sqoop provides an option to override the pre-defined Mapreduce home directory. You can override by specifying the new directory in the sqoop import command. Syntax:

$ sqoop import <options> --hadoop-mapred-home <path to directory>
