How to set mapping to java in sqoop

I am playing around with sqoop. And I read the concept of mapping. I understood what that is and want to set the mapping to java. How can I do this?

Hey @Chris, to set the mapping to Java, pass --map-column-java switch with your sqoop command. Refer below:

$ sqoop import <parameters> --map-column-java <mapping>
