How to pass query string in url using python requests

Hi. I am running a get command using requests. And I want to pass some query string in the url. I know I can do this manually but because requests automates this, I want to know how I can pass the key-value pair as query string.

You can pass the key-value pairs to the query string by using the params option. Refer to the below code:

>>> payload = {'key1': 'value1', 'key2': 'value2'}
>>> r = requests.get('<url>', params=payload)
