What are connection plugins in Ansible

Hey people, I have recently started learning Ansible. I have a small doubt, can somebody explain what are connection plugins in Ansible?

Hey @Jay, connection plugins allow ansible to connect to all the target hosts. Your Ansible work can have many plugins but only one can be used at a time on a particular host.

SSH is the most widely used connection plugin.
