To whom is the Hadoop job submitted

When a hadoop job is submitted, who receives this job?

When a hadoop job is submitted, it is submitted to the namenode. Namenode will then look for that data in the hadoop cluster and get the block information. This block information will be passed to JobTracker which takes care further.
