Is Stress and Load testing same

Please help me me with the difference between Stress testing and Load testing. Are they similar or different from one another?

Both stress testing and load testing comes under performance testing. Both of them are part of performance testing itself.

In Stress testing, you basically test the website after the traffic exceeds the limit.

In Load Testing you basically test the website's working with increased workload.

Hence they both are different from each other.
