Error saying Error Could not autoload puppet provider package rpm No child processes While installing gcc through puppet

I'm trying to install gcc through puppet. 

package{"gcc": ensure => installed, }

I get the following error:​

Error: Could not autoload puppet/provider/package/rpm: No child processes

Hey @Laksha, check your internet connectivity. You usually get this error when you're offline. Check if your VirtualBox is connected to the internet.
