Error InvalidSelectorException in selenium

I am using ID to locate a text box but I am getting this error instead:

InvalidSelectorException: no such element: Unable to locate element:

Can someone help me?

The error you are getting can be due to the reason that there are multiple elements having the same id. There can be multiple sub element having similar id. Try using some other locator to locate the element.

Xpath can be the best for this scenario.
