When trying to restore and backup in a clustered environment, what all things do I need to keep in mind?

If you're restoring to a new cluster, make sure the old cluster is shut down. Not shutting the old cluster might lead to some conflicts while accessing databases.

per-node backups will only be restored to nodes having the same hostname as the backup node
