Is it possible to link the R language and Julia

Question

Julia seems super fast and effective for syntax-sane computation. That's why I plan on implementing Julia where C++ is mainly used in R programs, in order to optimize slow parts of code. 

But before I study about it, I want to know what support R provides for Julia.

R has a specific package just for the implementation of Julia. It's called the RJulia package, you can read about it in the official docs.
