HDMI cable undetected on my Laptop

0 votes

So, I attempted to use an Android OS that comes default with the DragonBoard 410c and I obviously tried to connect the HDMI cable from this board to my Laptop(Windows 7/8, Dell Inspiron) to see the  load and work on it.

But even after waiting for some time, my laptop failed to detect it.

Not sure if the HDMI cable has the problem or the board. What should i do?

Usually, the notebook's HDMI slot is built for video output purpose. And you're trying to use it as a video input. What you need to use, is a device with an HDMI input slot.

If you have to use that laptop only, you can also try an HDMI->VGA converter.
