Setting Hive properties

Hi. I am not new to Hadoop but I still have a silly question. It's been a while that I have not used Hive. Now I am trying to set up Hive. I was referring to the notes I made while I installed Hive the first time. In that, I have mentioned that I have to set Hive properties but I don't know what are those properties. Please help. Sorry if this seemed like a stupid question.

Hey. It's definitely not a stupid question. It's common that we forget certain things when we are not in regular touch with a particular technology. I have mentioned the properties below:

SET hive.support.concurrency=true;
SET hive.enforce.bucketing=true;
SET hive.exec.dynamic.partition.mode=nonstrict;
SET hive.txn.manager=org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.lockmgr.DbTxnManager;
SET hive.compactor.initiator.on=true;
SET hive.compactor.worker.threads=1;
SET hive.support.concurrency=true;
SET hive.enforce.bucketing=true;
