Security Auditor Certifications

Hi. I have been working as a Network Admin for some time now. I am planning to get into Security Auditing. I am preparing myself reading about what the job requires me to be. While doing this I read that there are more opportunities for certified people. But I am not aware of certifications for Security Auditing. Can someone tell me which certifications would help me out?

Hey,

To become a cyber security auditor, you will need at least a bachelor's degree, preferably in information technology, computer science or an applicable technical field. Then you will likely need at least 5 years of experience in an IT department.

There is some other popular certification as follows:

1. CEH: Certified Ethical Hacker  
2. Comp TIA security+
3. GSEC: SANS GIAC Security Essentials
